Pollinator Garden Design

9:00 AM  –  12:00 PM

Create gardens specifically for pollinators! Participants will learn what types of pollinators to expect in a garden along with their native plant preferences for food sources, shelter and host plants. Learn about conservation efforts underway for various pollinators including the monarch butterfly.

Saturdays, October 14 & 17, 9 a.m. – noon & 1 – 4 p.m.

This series is comprised of four classes:

  • Pollinator Garden DesignOctober 7, 9 a.m. - noon
  • Native Plants for PollinatorsOctober 7, 1 - 4 p.m.
  • Types of PollinatorsOctober 14, 9 a.m. - noon
  • Conservation Efforts for PollinatorsOctober 14, 1 - 4 p.m. 

Classes include tours of the Wildflower Center’s Pollinator Habitat Garden and the Nectar Gardens.
